Job Title: Territory Manager – PumpsLocation: Southern Ontario<br> Reports To: General Manager<br><br>
Position Summary:
The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and managing sales of dewatering and fluid handling pumps. This is a new avenue of business for the Hamilton location, but Sling Choker Mfg as a whole is renowned for the supply and service of dewatering pumps in Northern Ontario. This role involves building strong relationships with new customers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of sales experience with a proven track record in the pump industry.<br><br>
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.</li><li>Identify new business opportunities across industries such as construction, marine, and manufacturing.</li><li>Maintain and grow customer relationships through regular visits, technical support, and product training.</li><li>Provide customers with product recommendations, pricing, and quotations for pumps and related items.</li><li>Collaborate with purchasing and operations to ensure customer satisfaction and order fulfillment.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.</li><li>Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and customer account updates.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.</li><li>Promote and identify business opportunities for all company product lines.</li><li>Coordinate efforts with the sales team to expand business opportunities and customer satisfaction.</li></ul>

Qualifications:<ul><li>3–4+ years of outside sales experience in pumps and industrial products.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of dewatering pumps and pump applications.</li><li>Proven ability to develop new business and manage long-term customer relationships.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.</li></ul>
