Job Description

*Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Labourer*
*Hours: *7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends or evenings)
*NO AGENCY INQUIRIES*
*OVERVIEW:*
You will work along with others in our warehouse to gather the appropriate items to fulfill incoming orders. You will be responsible for locating items from orders on the shelves, packing them, and having the customer confirm they are receiving the correct product, ensuring accurate and precise picking/matching of materials from paperwork). Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting.
*JOB DUTIES:*
* Helping other warehouse colleagues with pick orders as outlined on Pick Ticket
* Advising Team Lead of any shortages of goods in the warehouse so inventory is well communicated and stocked
* Handle merchandise in a damage-free manner, and report all equipment malfunctions to Lead.
* Help with inbound shipments in a prompt manner, including safe unloading of items from carriers to assigned warehouse locations
* Daily maintenance of the warehouse and front office, removing garbage, sweeping both indoors and around the building, exercising good housekeeping practices at all times
* Responsible for maintaining the organization of the warehouse – organizing shelving materials, wrapping skids, and preparing them to be lifted onto the racks
* Receiving and processing incoming interbranch stock, unload truck/ trailers, verifies packing slip versus receipt
* Other warehouse duties as assigned

* Ability to handle physical workload, prioritize and multitask
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
* This is a physically demanding position, requiring the ability to safely lift 25kg of equipment
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, grasp, reach, pull, push, and carry
* English verbal, written, and reading skills are required
