<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As <b>Assistant Branch Manager</b>, you will work under the direction of the Branch Manager. You will manage a team, oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered while meeting corporate objectives.</p>
<h3>What you’re responsible for:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace</li>
<li>Applying environmental and Health & Safety rules and procedures</li>
<li>Assist the Branch Manager with monthly Health & Safety audits</li>
<li>Supervise daily operations such as scheduling, sales and production targets</li>
<li>Support employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives</li>
<li>Assist the Branch Manager in employee communications</li>
<li>Work in collaboration with various internal partners in the follow‑up and application of business processes</li>
<li>Carry out, with the Branch Manager, quarterly evaluations of hourly employees</li>
<li>Perform various administrative tasks (cash deposits, employee payroll, schedules, etc.)</li>
<li>Support the Branch Manager in recruiting, welcoming and integrating new employees</li>
<li>Act as ambassador in any organizational change and play an active role in the roll‑out to your branch</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>You have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in customer service</li>
<li>You have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a management role</li>
<li>You have a college or university diploma</li>
<li>You have experience in retail or automotive sales (preferred)</li>
<li>You are able to empower employees</li>
<li>You are able to successfully delegate tasks and follow up</li>
<li>You are a problem solver</li>
<li>You are collaborative and team‑oriented</li>
