<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p></p><p><strong>Fairway Ford</strong> is seeking a detail oriented <strong>Autobody <span >Technician/Estimator</span></strong> to join our team. The <strong>Autobody Technician /Estimator</strong> is responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and performing high-quality body and collision repairs. This dual role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe repairs.</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage.</p><p>Prepare accurate estimates using industry-standard software </p><p>Communicate with insurance companies and customers regarding repair timelines, costs, and approvals.</p><p>Provide clear explanations of repair processes to customers in a professional manner.</p><p>Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs to manufacturer specifications.</p><p>Complete welding, sanding, filling, and refinishing as required.</p><p>Ensure repairs meet OEM, safety, and quality standards.</p><p>Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following company and provincial safety regulations.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Red Seal certification (Auto Body Repair Technician) or equivalent experience preferred.</p><br /><strong>Qualifications:</strong><p></p><p></p><p>Experience as an autobody technician with expertise in estimating </p><p>Proficiency with estimating software and familiarity with insurance claim processes.</p><p><p>Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.</p></p><p>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</p><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>Valid class 5 driver&#39;s license or equivalent</p><p></p><br /><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews. </p><p>Requests for reasonable accommodation will be accepted during the hiring process.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p></p></p>
