This includes performing general maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas, conducting preventative maintenance, and responding to service requests from tenants and management. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping properties in excellent condition while delivering friendly and professional service to residents.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Perform routine inspections and maintenance of residential units, common areas, and building systems.</li><li>Complete general repairs such as drywall patching, painting, door and hardware adjustments, and minor flooring work.</li><li>Handle light plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing faucets, and repairing toilets.</li><li>Perform basic electrical work such as replacing fixtures, switches, and outlets.</li><li>Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and ensure work is completed efficiently and professionally.</li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical and building systems, including HVAC filter changes and minor adjustments.</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors or licensed trades for specialized work when required.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and building regulations.</li><li>Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas, tools, and supplies.</li><li>Support seasonal maintenance activities such as snow removal, landscaping, and exterior repairs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and property inspections.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification an asset.</li><li>2-4 years of experience in residential building maintenance or a related field.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.</li><li>Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Professional, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Key Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Hands-on, practical, and proactive approach to maintenance tasks.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents.</li><li>Organized and dependable with strong time management.</li><li>Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why Join Wingspan:</b></p><p>At Wingspan, you'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team that values integrity, innovation, and performance.
