You’ll play a key role in managing credit exposure, supporting portfolio growth, and ensuring risk is kept within appetite and tolerance levels. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll analyze financial statements, prepare business cases, and contribute to the smooth running of credit processes.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Review credit submissions for completeness and quality</li><li>Analyze financial statements and build business cases for underwriting</li><li>Research clients and support credit limit approvals</li><li>Maintain mark‑to‑market reporting and margin fund follow‑ups</li><li>Prepare hedging documentation and update systems</li><li>Monitor exception queues and escalate as needed</li><li>Keep files organized and accurate, supporting audits and reporting</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>What we&#39;re looking for</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Experience underwriting commercial credit limits</li><li>Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting processes</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and Word, with adaptability to new systems</li><li>Clear communication skills, both written and verbal</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Education & Requirements</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (or related field)</li><li>Training or exposure to foreign exchange, forwards, or options is an asset</li><li>Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Why Apply</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to gain <strong>international exposure</strong>, sharpen your skills in <strong>credit risk management</strong>, and work closely with a team that values precision, collaboration, and growth.
