About the Role


We’re seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join our dynamic Credit Risk team. You’ll play a key role in managing credit exposure, supporting portfolio growth, and ensuring risk is kept within appetite and tolerance levels. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll analyze financial statements, prepare business cases, and contribute to the smooth running of credit processes.


What You’ll Do


  • Review credit submissions for completeness and quality
  • Analyze financial statements and build business cases for underwriting
  • Research clients and support credit limit approvals
  • Maintain mark‑to‑market reporting and margin fund follow‑ups
  • Prepare hedging documentation and update systems
  • Monitor exception queues and escalate as needed
  • Keep files organized and accurate, supporting audits and reporting


What we're looking for


  • Experience underwriting commercial credit limits
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting processes
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, with adaptability to new systems
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal


Education & Requirements


  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (or related field)
  • Training or exposure to foreign exchange, forwards, or options is an asset
  • Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
