Job Summary <br />We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care and supporting our clinical team in providing top-quality dental services. This position is perfect for someone who is proactive, passionate about dentistry, and committed to creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.<br /><br /> Responsibilities <br /><br /> Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring instruments and materials are prepared and readily available<br /> Capture dental radiographs as needed<br /> Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software<br /> Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-procedure care information<br /> Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area in compliance with infection control protocols<br /> Collaborate closely with the dental team to support smooth, effective clinic operations<br /><br /> Skills <br /><br /> Experience with Dentrix dental software is a strong asset<br /> Familiarity with iTero scanners and Align Technology is preferred<br /> Solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures<br /> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<br /> Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment<br /> A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.<br /><br />Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Pay: $21.23-$33.01 per hour<br /><br />Benefits:<br /> Dental care<br /> Disability insurance<br /> Extended health care<br /> Life insurance<br><br>Education:<br /> Secondary School (preferred)<br /><br />Experience:<br /> Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)<br /><br />Location:<br /> Ottawa, ON K1S 1N4 (required)<br /><br />Work Location: In person
