AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring an experienced Journeyman Gas Fitter for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.
- $65.00 per hour before overtime
- $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
- Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
- Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ontario Gas Fitter Class 1 license required.
- Ability to read schematics
- Basic computer skills - Windows
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely manner
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with a Heat Treat operation
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team with other trades
- Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
