If we can’t do it safely, we don’t do it at all.</li><li>Integrity – We lead by example, with humility and courage.</li><li>Accountability – We’re passionate about delivering on our commitments.</li><li>Inclusion – We provide equitable opportunities for everyone.</li><li>Well‑being Support – Ensuring your family receives the services needed to support mental, emotional, and physical well‑being.</li><li>Career Development – Through our Aecon University and Leadership Programs.</li><li>Sustainability – A strong commitment to operating responsibly by minimizing our impact on the environment and surrounding communities.</li><li>Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives – Equity, Diversity & Inclusion training, Aecon Women in Trades and Aecon Diversity in Trades programs, and Employee Resource Groups.</li></ul><p>What Is The Opportunity</p><p>Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, the IT Operations Specialist is responsible for day‑to‑day operational IT support, requests, and project set‑up support for all corporate and branch offices, job sites, and networks.</p><h3>What You’ll Do Here</h3><ul><li>Support corporate, key branch offices and job sites as assigned.</li><li>Provide remote and in‑person IT support to all end users as needed day‑to‑day.</li><li>Set up and deploy equipment, making CMDB updates as necessary.</li><li>Design and manage job site set‑ups, engaging other internal teams and vendors as necessary.</li><li>Create and manage diagrams for cabling and workstation requirements, meeting room equipment, etc.</li><li>Manage office support and job sites throughout their entire lifecycle – from site mobilization to site demobilization.</li><li>Oversee proper reclaim and decommissioning of IT equipment.</li><li>Support Aecon’s joint venture projects as necessary.</li><li>Work with strategic sourcing and procurement teams to source effective and affordable equipment for sites.</li><li>Participate in the creation of estimates for all new project job sites.</li><li>Follow and support Aecon’s IT policies, procedures and guidelines.</li></ul><h3>What You Bring To The Team</h3><ul><li>Degree or diploma related to Information Services or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Demonstrable experience with and training on multiple technologies including HP, Cisco, Juniper, Lenovo, and Apple hardware and software.</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft products including the 365 suite, Teams Windows App, and Intune.</li><li>Experience with set‑up, deployment and support/management of large printer fleets.</li><li>Experience with set‑up, deployment and support of meeting room/video conference technology.</li><li>Experience with Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management, Service Level Management and ITSM tools (BMC).</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non‑technical people.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Technical knowledge in computer hardware and software configuration.</li><li>Multitasking skills to work in a fast‑paced environment.</li><li>Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures.</li></ul><p>Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
