<p>Location: </p><p>Pleasantdale School, located in the community of Estevan, SK </p><p>Term: </p><p>Start Date: September 2, 2025 or as mutually agreed upon </p><p>End Date: N/A </p><p>Tenure: </p><p>Permanent </p><p>Hours of Work: </p><p>Equivalent to 3 hours per day student days </p><p>Duties: </p><p>In addition to those duties outlined in the , duties include supporting students with diverse needs and/or high behavioral needs. The successful applicant may be required to perform the following:</p><ul><li>Lifting - Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without a lift and up to 120 pounds with a 2 man lift or mechanical lift</li><li>Transport students (personal vehicle may be required to transport)</li><li>Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs as required</li><li>Prepare and plan student-based life skills and academic programming under direction of teacher</li><li>Focus on successfully transitioning the student to be able to work with other students and adults</li><li>Focus on behaviour and safety plan created specifically for students as required</li><li>Supervision of intensive need student(s) as well as small groups of students as required</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum Grade 12 diploma from an institution recognized by the Board of Education</li><li>Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and be flexible</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of school computer software such as word processing and computer assisted learning software</li><li>An educational assistant or equivalent diploma, NVCI, First Aid, Autism and Behavioral educational background will be considered assets</li><li>Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division</li></ul><p>Salary & Benefits: </p><p>Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website .
