Apply now to join a dynamic team and contribute to exciting and meaningful projects!<br> Project Management Services include the comprehensive management and control of all aspects of the project throughout all phases of its life cycle to achieve prescribed objectives defined in terms of Project Manager Responsibilities. The Project Manager will lead and manage the efforts of the Project Team to achieve the objectives of the project to meet project requirements. The Project Manager is expected to work competently using several project management methodologies including but not limited to waterfall, agile and hybrid.<br> <b>Responsibilities:<br></b><br> Project Initiation and Planning<ul><li>Responsible for regular communication with all project stakeholders' groups including the project owner, project teams and resources, consultants, and staff.</li><li>Responsible to direct the activities and deliverables of assigned project management resources.</li><li>Review, record and manage contract change management authority and approval framework.</li><li>Actively monitor all risks and opportunities to the project, communicating with project stakeholders including but not limited to project team, owners and Service Providers regularly.</li><li>Responsible for coordinating and managing all activities required to be complete the projects.</li><li>Responsible for project entry and data management within project management framework and information management systems.</li><li>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules ensuring integration of capital and operating streams and providing regular updates to the manager identified for their project.</li><li>Operate within the approved project budget in accordance with the capital framework.</li><li>Weekly reporting and tracking is expected using internal systems which will include but is not limited to both actual and forecasted monthly project spending.</li><li>Manage implementation for conformity within the approved project requirements, including detailed scheduling and coordination.</li></ul>Procurement<ul><li>The PM will work with consultants and external and internal stakeholders and be responsible for defining the requirements of the project including the detailed design documents and specifications up to a tender ready document package.</li><li>Support and participate in the tendering process including assisting the selection committee to award the tender to the qualified proponent and issue the contract.</li><li>Development of project scope, quality, budget, schedule, risk, and adhering to all federal, provincial and municipal acts and regulations, laws and legislation.</li><li>Develop the procurement plan in accordance with policies for the project.</li><li>Delivery of project plan to ensure alignment of project goals and expectations including management of Service Providers and contractors, manage and control project scope, schedule and budget, quality, risks, communications, stakeholders and change control.</li><li>Manage all changes to scope through project charter and/or Change Order process, review and approve submitted costs and track against both approved budget and schedule.</li><li>Advise the Manager when project budget increase or schedule delay is projected to occur.</li><li>Work within the systems to seek and obtain approvals.</li><li>Responsible to manage project budget including review and process progress claims, advising on timing of final payment and release of holdback monies.</li><li>Biweekly/Weekly reporting and tracking is expected using internal systems/processes including but not limited to Cash flow reporting of both actual and forecasted monthly project spend.</li><li>Responsible to conduct start up meeting, attend bi-weekly client meetings and other as required.</li><li>The PM will be require to provide regular communication including reporting on projects status, budget and schedule.</li><li>Track and manage overall Project opportunities and risks.</li><li>Maximizing opportunities and managing issues.</li><li>Work with Stakeholders to inform the issue and provide recommendations to be communicated Project Manager as necessary.</li><li>Manage quality assurance and control requirements ensuring work conforms to the contract including review of mock-ups and deficiency reviews.</li><li>Responsible to manage and coordinate provision of staff training on new systems.</li><li>Responsible for project entry and data management within project management framework and information management systems.</li></ul>Procurement<ul><li>Work with organization to tender, recommend, select and negotiate contracts with vendors.</li><li>Conduct project closeout review.</li><li>Assemble and review all necessary project close out information including transfer to operations, as-built documents, training manuals etc.</li><li>Lessons learned with all stakeholders and clients.</li><li>Final project close out.</li></ul><b>Requirements:</b><ul><li>5 plus years of experience managing Information Technology projects</li><li>Valid PMP Certification or Prince2 Practitioner certification</li><li>Expertise in project lifecycles, and project planning including resource, cost, and schedule estimation</li><li>Experience working on a project within a large-scale program requiring integration with other projects and adherence to an overall program strategy and execution</li><li>Experience working on large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation projects</li><li>Experience developing business cases</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Information Technology projects</li><li>Valid PMP Certification or Prince2 Practitioner certification</li><li>Expertise in project lifecycles, and project planning including resource, cost, and schedule estimation</li><li>Experience working on a project within a large-scale program requiring integration with other projects and adherence to an overall program strategy and execution</li><li>Experience working on large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation projects</li><li>Experience developing business cases</li></ul><b>The following qualifications are an asset:</b><ul><li>SAP project management experience in one, or all, of the following areas: S4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, SuccessFactors</li><li>Strong exposure to SAP Activate Methodology in a Hybrid Agile delivery approach</li><li>Solid understanding of the SAP landscape, modules, and terminology</li><li>Ability to liaise between SAP & System Integrator consultants and Business SME's to ensure requirements are met while ensuring the adoption of best practice is
