<p><h3>About Stone Creek Resorts</h3><p>Stone Creek Resorts is a privately held Alberta-based land and property developer and the owner/operator of two world class golf resorts – Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta, and Eagle Ranch Resort in Invermere, BC.</p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced <b>Senior Financial Accountant</b> to join our Calgary-based Finance team. This role supports financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights across resort and real estate operations. Occasional travel to Canmore and Invermere may be required.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain general ledgers and record transactions across multiple systems.</li><li>Manage monthly close processes and support internal/external reporting.</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements for resort entities.</li><li>Deliver KPI reports and project-specific financial insights.</li><li>Perform account reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy.</li><li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with finance and development teams.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and system upgrades.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with operations, development, and procurement teams.</li><li>Oversee direct reports and provide leadership across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>CPA designation preferred with 3–5 years post-designation experience.</li><li>Proficient in Sage Intacct, Sage Construction, and advanced Excel.</li><li>Strong project accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to adapt, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><p>Compensation is based on experience.
