This is a space for a fulfilling career with opportunities to innovate, great benefits, and a fun and inclusive work culture. </p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Drive product initiatives throughout the product lifecycle from conception to release, ensuring timely delivery of all product milestones.</li><li>Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; create and manage project timelines and schedules.</li><li>Oversee and support multiple complex projects and product initiatives, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams (Hardware, Firmware, D&A, Software) to ensure vision alignment and accountability for deliverables.</li><li>Develop strategic plans to manage and optimize the project delivery process and align with organizational goals.</li><li>Provide guidance to junior team members and foster a productive, focused, and resilient team environment.</li><li>Establish and maintain project deliverables and milestone updates for sponsors and key stakeholders; serve as primary point of contact for project-related aspects.</li><li>Analyze project issues, develop solutions, anticipate problems, and address them proactively.</li><li>Formulate cohesive recommendations on delivery approaches after consulting key stakeholders on effort, resources, dependencies, and constraints.</li><li>Perform post-mortem reviews to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Drive project communication and reporting; manage project tracking and analysis and communicate vital information to project and product teams.</li><li>Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management to ensure transparency and alignment.</li><li>Lead in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to enhance the team's capabilities.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project/program management or product ownership within a technology organization.</li><li>Experience in a technical or engineering environment with knowledge of the high-technology industry.</li><li>Proven track record of managing all aspects of a project lifecycle.</li><li>Experience with big data and extracting value from large datasets.</li><li>Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent is an asset.</li><li>High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong project management skills with the ability to identify needs, develop solutions, and drive projects to completion.</li><li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines.</li><li>Stays up to date with the latest technological advancements and market trends.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player.</li><li>Technical competence using software programs, including Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and JIRA.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.</li></ul><h3>Why Geotab</h3><p>Flex working arrangements, home office reimbursement, parental leave/top-up programs, online learning and networking opportunities, EV purchase incentives, and competitive medical and dental benefits.
