<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $58,000 - $67,000 per year<br /><p>Job description:</p><p><br /></p><p>Avensys Solutions Inc.is an industry leader providing instrumentation and integrated solutions for monitoring industrial processes and environmental surveillance applications for air and water in the Canadian marketplace.</p><p><br /></p><p>Summary:<br />The Avensys Service Team supports a wide range of equipment covering the environmental and instrumentation markets. Based in our Oakville office, the main duties will include working on various equipment, effectively troubleshooting equipment independently, quoting/following up with customers, and being a good representative of the company's service efforts. Providing top-notch customer service and a positive attitude are essential.</p><p><br /></p><p>Accountabilities:</p><ul><li>Purpose and Values: Live and demonstrate the company's purpose and values, which are anchored around delivering an excellent customer experience with integrity, respect, and continuous improvement while fulfilling your potential.</li><li>Work safely and in alignment with all health and safety regulations</li><li>Be knowledgeable on multiple Avensys products. (Internal and factory training will be provided.)</li><li>Manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Perform calibrations and repairs correctly, on budget, and in a timely fashion.</li><li>It is considered an ASSET if you have past experience producing repair estimates.</li><li>Quote repairs, lead times, and terms to all customers and schedule timely follow-up</li><li>Communicate electronically and/or via phone with Avensys's customers and manufacturers to help troubleshoot customer's devices</li><li>Support all product Electrical inspections</li><li>Be a reliable service resource for external and internal customers</li><li>Support the rental department as directed by management</li><li>Work with our CRM program and related systems to capture customer information and service activity</li><li>Seek new service opportunities and develop leads from our website, customer emails and phone inquiries</li><li>Efforts are required to maintain existing business and seek new business</li><li>Work is generally based in our Oakville location. Travel across Canada and the USA will occasionally be required so a valid passport is necessary for this role.</li><li>Support other offices in peak periods and for vacation and sick coverage</li><li>Full participation in annual warehouse inventory and unit fleet counts</li><li>Other duties as required by the Avensys management team</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:</p><ul><li>A post-secondary education in electronics or electronics technician/ technologist is necessary</li><li>A post-secondary education in the electrical or the electro-mechanical field would be considered an ASSET</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to work through service manuals and schematics</li><li>Must be organized</li><li>Possess avid knowledge of using power and hand tools</li><li>Exhibit advanced <span >disassembly/assembly</span> and soldering skills</li><li>Three to four years of industry related disciplines is preferred</li><li>Familiarity with Business Central or another Customer Service Software would be considered an asset.</li><li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>Proven analytical/ problem solving solutions for the customer and the company</li><li>Must be organized</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required</li><li>Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment to meet or exceed goals</li><li>Stay up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and company products.</li><li>Valid drivers license and passport are mandatory</li><li>A positive attitude is essential</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Physical Demands & Working Conditions:</p><ul><li>Office/ lab environment</li><li>Full-Time in Office Monday - Friday</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Benefits:</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>RRSP match</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
