<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>The <strong>Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor</strong> is responsible for the management of warehouse inventory, customer services and facilities upkeep. This includes incoming inventory, order fulfillment, inventory levels, monthly inventory reconciliation and year-end inventory reconciliation and day to day upkeep and maintenance of the office and warehouse facilities. This position is accountable for ensuring that we meet and exceed customer expectations as it relates to their experience with our products through inventory management, order management, order fulfillment and supporting general logistics and processes to the benefit of those customers. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Oversees the duties performed by the inventory and logistics teams in Bolton, Ontario.</li><li>Designs, recommends and implements process, policies and procedures to ensure accurate delivery on our customer commitments, measurement and management of same.</li><li>Measures Inventory and fulfillment to KPIs and identifies continuous improvement opportunities that increase effectiveness, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs.</li><li>Ensures order processing and order fulfillment are completed, accurately recorded, and meet our fulfillment obligations.</li><li>Manages the warehouse team to continually improve their performance and job satisfaction.</li><li>Manages and assists with customer requests and issues.</li><li>Assists in the reduction of inventory by monitoring aged, excess, and obsolete inventory and takes action as appropriate.</li><li>Ensures the accuracy of material inventories; uses tools such as cycle counting, bar coding and open communication with departments to affirm stocking location updates.</li><li>Supervise and be accountable for year-end inventory processes.</li><li>Manages all returns and warranty claims.</li><li>Initiates Root Cause/Corrective action investigations when variances are identified to avoid reoccurrence.</li><li>Leads regular and proactive communication with internal and external customers and stakeholder reviewing demands, order status, and logistics execution.</li><li>Negotiates freight contracts as required.</li><li>Proactively works across the operation to develop capacity plans that ensure our ability to support continued business growth. This includes floor space utilization, footprint and layout planning, and staffing development.</li><li>Teach, monitor and maintain compliance to all safety protocols.</li><li>Manage and maintain capital assets, facility and equipment as needed.</li></ol><p><em>This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Other duties may be required to be undertaken which fall within the scope and general level of responsibility attached to the role.</em></p><p></p><p><strong>What you will need to succeed:</strong></p><p><strong>Education & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Post-Secondary Education or a minimum of seven years of commensurate work experience.</li><li>Minimum of two years of experience with demonstrated skills effectively managing others. </li><li>Possesses strong managerial and leadership skills, able to delegate and supervise work.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of inventory methods, procedures, and specification writing.</li><li>Has the understanding and aptitude to work with computer inventory programs and software.
