Assistant Home Inspector – Full Time (Central Alberta)

Quantum Property Inspections – $21/hr + Bonuses

Quantum Property Inspections is a rapidly growing home inspection company serving Central Alberta. We pride ourselves on professionalism, advanced technology, and delivering high-quality inspection services to homeowners, realtors, and builders. We are expanding our team and looking for a reliable, motivated Assistant Home Inspector to join us.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, seasonal position. Hours are busiest in spring/summer; fall/winter hours are not guaranteed. Assistants support inspectors with on-site tasks not related to report writing.

You will also begin training in ancillary services including sewer camera inspections and WETT inspections. Once certified, you will earn additional bonuses per service performed.

Responsibilities

• Assist inspectors on site with tools, equipment, and setup/teardown
• Carry and organize equipment such as ladders, sewer scopes, and testing devices
• Turn on all lights, appliances, and home systems as directed
• Take non-report reference photos
• Begin learning sewer camera procedures and WETT inspection fundamentals
• Travel between job sites (paid travel time)
• Optional weekend/holiday work available
• Represent Quantum Property Inspections with professionalism and excellent customer service

Requirements

• Must be Central Alberta based
• Valid driver's licence with clean driver's abstract
• Comfortable working on ladders
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs (equipment, ladders, tools)
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, with occasional optional weekends/holidays
• Willing to complete certification coursework for ancillary services on your own time

Compensation & Benefits

• $21 per hour
• Paid travel time
• Some overtime available
• Bonus pay for each ancillary service performed once certified
• Company work vehicle provided for job-related travel
• Internal training provided
• Potential to advance into a full Home Inspector role
